In order to become an Ursuline sister, a woman would journey through several distinct steps as she grows in her understanding of God’s call for her.

Financial support for the steps of Affiliancy, Postulancy, Novitiate and Temporary Profession represent another way interested persons can contribute to advance the sisters’ mission.

Currently, the postulant community is in San Antonio, Texas. The novitiate for the four provinces of Roman Union Ursulines of the USA is located in Chicago, Illinois. Each of these locations includes several women living in community; assistance with living expenses or travel and transportation costs is very much appreciated.

Throughout the incorporation process, there will be educational costs. Also, when Ursulines take a sabbatical for spiritual renewal or further education, there are additional costs. An interested donor may wish to make a gift to the Education Fund.
