On behalf of the Ursuline Sisters of the U.S. provinces, we are happy to welcome you to the vocations area of our Web site. The Ursulines, founded in 1535 by St. Angela Merici, were the first women religious in North America, arriving in Canada in 1639 and in New Orleans in 1727. We have been serving God’s people in the United States since our arrival here.
We would love to share something with you about Ursuline life today. Please let us know how we can help you as you discern God’s call in your life.
